Tablets… Tablets… Ipads…PiePads… etc etc. I haven’t really been in the market for a tablet, cause I have not actually had a need for one. I usually don’t buy anything unless I have a specific need or use for it. Well.. recently I decided to break down and get one, mainly to have and for use during traveling, It’s a lot lighter to carry around than a laptop. I begun my search in picking 4 of the best tablets and researching each one, one by one.. I ruled out the Ipad, well because I have turned my back against Apple because the fact they are American company making billions in profits and ship all company jobs overseas, I’d think differently of them if they would bring or keep jobs in the USA.. anyways.. So through my research I narrowed it down to the Acer Iconia A200 1-g16u 10.1 Inch tablet. I went to many brick and mortar store to play with it, ask questions and basically give it a test run. I purchased it and I could not be happier with this tablet. I think It beats all in the price range and features, not to mention the free ice cream sandwich upgrade that comes with it. That was a big plus! This tablet is perfect for my needs. It functions really fast and I haven’t had any problems out of it. The android market loads apps quickly and easily. I use skype on it and video chat is seamless. I only wish it had a better audio features but other than that it is a great tablet for the price. I almost purchased this tablet at Best Buy, but luckily their un professionalism and customer no service.. and bam, they lost my business with snap of finger, I went to one location, they were out of stock, they checked another store that had 3 in stock. I requested them to hold one for me. I get there and none in stock. I simply argued 2 minutes with a sales rep there and just said, no biggy.. Im heading home to order it off amazon and just save more money in sales tax I won’t have to pay. Ordered it from amazon for same price, no sales tax, received at my door in 3 days. So if your interested in this table and currently reading, Don’t wait any longer just go ahead and buy it now while supplies last at amazon and remember you get free update to google ice cream sandwich OS.
